Like M. Ouro, it is a Carcavelos fortified wine aged for long periods in wood, offering a serious and complex profile highly appreciated by knowledgeable drinkers. Its identity is defined more by the rarity and historical character of the bottling than by a formally declared age.

It displays an intense amber colour, with concentrated aromas of raisins, orange peel, gentle spices and aged wood. On the palate it is deep, structured and persistent, with well-integrated sweetness and lively acidity.

Its price reflects its scarcity, age of bottling and collector interest.
