IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The presence of an allergen as an ingredient is not the same as the possible presence of traces.
Allergenic ingredients used in a food must be identified in accordance with applicable food information rules. Warnings about possible unintentional presence, however, depend on the product assessment and the risks of cross-contact. This page provides general information and does not determine which allergens are present in each product.
REGULATION (EU) No 1169/2011
The 14 allergen groups.
European legislation identifies 14 groups of substances or products that cause allergies or intolerances and are subject to specific consumer information requirements.

Cereals containing gluten
Such as wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt and derived products covered by legislation.

Crustaceans
Crustaceans and crustacean-based products, such as prawns, crab and lobster.

Eggs
Eggs and egg-based products, including ingredients used in pastries and other preparations.

Fish
Fish and fish-based products, subject to legally established exceptions.
05
Peanuts
Peanuts and peanut-based products, including preparations and derived ingredients.
06
Soybeans
Soybeans and soybean-based products, subject to legally established exceptions.
07
Milk
Milk and milk-based products, including lactose, subject to exceptions provided for in legislation.
08
Nuts
Such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, cashews, pistachios and other nuts specified in legislation.

Celery
Celery and celery-based products, including ingredients used in seasonings and food preparations.
10
Mustard
Mustard and mustard-based products, including sauces and other preparations.
11
Sesame seeds
Sesame seeds and derived products, including ingredients used in bakery products.

Sulphur dioxide and sulphites
At concentrations above 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/l, expressed as total SO₂, in accordance with applicable legislation.

Lupin
Lupin and lupin-based products, including flours and derived preparations.
14
Molluscs
Molluscs and derived products, such as octopus, squid, cuttlefish, clams, mussels and cockles.

BEFORE CHOOSING A PRODUCT
How to check allergen information.
01 · PREPACKED PRODUCTS
Check the label.
Check the list of ingredients, highlighted allergens and any specific warnings from the manufacturer. If there is any discrepancy, confirm the information on the packaging you receive before consumption.
02 · NON-PREPACKED PRODUCTS
Ask for information.
For products sold by weight, portioned or packaged at the point of sale, ask for allergen information before purchasing.
03 · QUESTIONS OR ALLERGIES
Contact us first.
If you need to avoid a specific ingredient, especially in the case of a severe allergy, contact Manuel Tavares before completing your purchase and wait for clarification about the product in question.
