TAYLOR´S SINGLE HARVEST 1971 PLATINUM JUBILEE

Eighth release of this 50-year-old wine series. The 1971 Taylor's Single Harvest represents the 50th anniversary of the coronation of the Queen of England, Elizabeth II.

Auburn hue gradually fading to a broad, light amber rim. A wonderfully full, multidimensional nose with a delicate balance. Warm and smooth notes of black coffee, molasses and marzipan blend with dried fig, sultana and woody notes of cigar box and cedar. Subtle notes of tobacco leaf, wilted rose petal and black tea, as well as spicy aromas of black pepper and hints of orange blossom combine to give the wine a very attractive aromatic character. It is a round wine with a silky texture, balanced by a fresh and perfectly integrated acidity that gives a very attractive liveliness throughout the long and smooth finish. - Producer
