SALT FLOWER WITH PORT WINE
The salt flower of Castro Marim is considered by many to be one of the best in the world, as well as others in the region, all of it a mark of excellence in the art of salt plains. This in particular has port wine, which adds a special touch to the food in which it is added.
The salt flower is a cluster of crystals that forms on the surface of sea water. They are small crystals that form on the surface of the crystallization waters of the salt, being collected in special crystals of artisanal harvesting, where only a thin film of salt crystals is removed that forms on the surface of the water. It contains minerals and unique nutrients, for as well as microcrystals that facilitate digestion and have the advantage of being absolutely natural.
The use of salt flower activates the natural flavor of food.
