An ode to Port Wine. Quinta do Noval Nacional Vintage 2019.
A small plot with free standing vines, in the heart of the Quinta do Noval vineyard, untouched by phylloxera. The word "Nacional" refers to the fact that these vines are Portuguese vines growing in Portuguese soil, without American rootstock, and therefore directly "rooted in the soil of the nation". This great wine is a source of pride for all Portuguese and, when at its best, it is the highest expression of the extraordinary terroir of Quinta do Noval. National Vintage is a unique and extraordinary phenomenon. - Producer
All the grapes come from the Nacional plot in the Quinta do Noval vineyard, located in Pinhão - the heart of the Douro Valley.
