NOVAL NACIONAL VINTAGE 2023

Noval Nacional Vintage 2023 is a rare and legendary Port, produced from a small plot of ungrafted vines at the heart of Quinta do Noval—untouched by phylloxera. These vines grow directly in Portuguese soil, without American rootstock, offering a pure expression of national terroir.

In the glass, it shows a deep, opaque purple hue. The nose is rich and layered, with intense aromas of ripe wild berries, black plum, blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate. As it opens, subtle notes of dried herbs and graphite emerge.

On the palate, it is powerful and concentrated, with firm yet polished tannins, great volume and density. The wine reveals well-defined layers of fruit and spice, balanced by a vibrant acidity that brings freshness and energy.
