Honey from Urze produced in Gois by cooperative of ViLA Nova do Ceira. Honey is a natural food produced by honey bees from the nectar of the flowers, which collect, transform and combine with specific substances of their own, storing it and letting it mature in honeycomb combs. Honey, as a substitute for sugar, is a natural sweetener and excellent stimulant of vitality, being a food of sustenance and regeneration, becoming a product suitable for sportsmen, the elderly and children, thanks to its energetic, nutritious and easily assimilated by the body. Honey can be consumed in its natural form, in milk, tea, yogurts, cereals, bread, etc.
