CARTUXA 60 ANOS CASTELAO

The Cartuxa 60 Years Castelão is part of the commemorative collection celebrating the 60th anniversary of Fundação Eugénio de Almeida. Sourced from vineyards in Évora, planted on granitic soils, this single-varietal showcases the more delicate side of Castelão. Fermented in 120 hL French oak vats with indigenous yeasts and aged for 14 months in used French oak barrels, it displays aromas of ripe red fruits, subtle spice and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is elegant, with fine tannins, balanced freshness, and a long, persistent finish.
