TENORIO TUNA
The origin of Tenório tuna dates back to 1961 and the birth of Cofaco in the Algarve, based in Vila Real de Santo António. But with the scarcity of tuna in the Algarve, Cofaco travels to the archipelago of the Azores, a privileged place for the passage of tuna on its migratory routes through the oceans. The origin of the brand dates back to the most distant times of the canned tuna factory São Francisco de Francisco Rodrigues Tenório (Vila Real de Santo António) founded in 1880 that quickly reached great prestige for the high quality of the tuna in cans that provided the internal and external markets .
