TAYLOR´S SENTINELS VINTAGE 2023

Taylor’s Sentinels Vintage Port 2023 is a vintage Port from Taylor’s historic estates in the Pinhão Valley. This blend draws from wines from several prestigious estates — Terra Feita, Junco, Casa Nova and Eira Velha — within the original 1756 demarcation zone. The result is a deeply coloured wine, almost black, with intense aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry, complemented by plum, damson, rockrose and a subtle herbal freshness of mint. On the palate it delivers firm structure, enveloping tannins, exuberant fruit and a long silky finish, with notes of cedar and a delicate hint of licorice. This vintage has great ageing potential and shows best when decanted — perfect with rich cheeses, dried fruits or simply enjoyed on its own for special occasions.
