REGUENGOS GARRAFEIRA DOS SÓCIOS 2021 RED

The Garrafeira dos Sócios was born in 1982 when the wine was produced and about three years later it was the first Garrafeira do Alentejo.

The Reguengos Garrafeira dos Sócios 2021 is an exceptional red wine produced by the Carmim cooperative, located in the Alentejo wine region. This wine is crafted from a careful selection of Aragonez, Castelão, and Trincadeira grapes, sourced from the finest plots in the region.

After harvest, the wine undergoes 24 months of aging in oak barrels, imparting complexity, structure, and elegance. It presents an intense ruby color and captivating aromas of ripe black fruits, such as plums and cherries, combined with notes of spices, vanilla, and a subtle hint of toasted wood.

On the palate, it is full-bodied and robust, with firm and well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, persistent finish. This wine pairs excellently with grilled or roasted red meats, game, aged cheeses, or traditional Alentejo cuisine.
