QUINTA DO NOVAL SYRAH 2021

The Quinta do Noval Syrah 2021 is a red wine made entirely from Syrah, from Quinta do Noval in the Douro. It was fermented in stainless steel vats with subsequent malolactic fermentation, and aged for about 10 months in French oak barrels, with a portion in new oak (around 20-25%) to add structure and oak aromatics. It displays an intense ruby colour with violet reflections, aromas of ripe wild berries, spice, wood, and some floral notes. On the palate it has smooth, well-integrated tannins, good acidity, medium to full body, and a persistent, pleasant finish.
