NOVAL NACIONAL VINTAGE 2021

The share of the national is a small area with frank foot vines, in the heart of the vineyard of Quinta do Noval, untouched by Filoxera. The national vintage is a unique and extraordinary phenomenon.

This National 2021 has a deep and vibrant color of an almost opaque blue tone; Initially rich and uninhibited in the nose, it reveals a fragrant and floral fruit, a rare expression for this wine at this stage, as it opens in the glass; Very dense on the taste, displaying delicious plum flavors and wild fruits, supported by layers of silky tannins and a touch of licorice, culminating in a smooth, long and slightly expert floral mouth. Grapes: The portion of the national is planted with a mixture of the noble castes of the Douro, mostly Touriga French; Red dog; National Touriga; Sousion and paint roriz.
