Its appearance is marked by a wonderful dark purple rim, hints of violet and a beautiful, intense colour. The nose is delicate, fine and extremely sophisticated. With floral notes of violet, graphite, liquorice and blackberries. The true style and potential of this wine are realised in the perfection of the aromatic and structure pairing; in the balance between volume and elegance, resulting in a spicy finish that is slightly drier than you might expect. This is probably one of the best vintages of the last decade, with such a balanced structure of acidity, sweetness and tannins that it has great potential for ageing in the bottle. - Producer
