MARQUÊS DE MARIALVA XO 20 YEARS

The brand Marquês de Marialva is the "hat" brand for DOC Bairrada wines and sparkling wines from Adega de Cantanhede. It was born as a tribute to D. António Luís de Meneses (1603-1675) - commander of the Portuguese troops in the War of Restoration (1640-1668) - Montes Claros and Linhas de Elvas. In recognition of his glorious deeds, King D. Afonso VI awarded him the title of Marquis de Marialva, which he combined with that of 3rd Count of Cantanhede.

Defined amber color with greenish highlights. Sui generis fruity aroma, predominant in notes of roasted beans, dried vegetable, vanilla, dried black plum and raisin. In the mouth it is fruity, smooth and complex. - Producer
