MACALLAN RARE CASK

Another amazing whisky from Macallan. This time is called Rare Cask due to the fact that Macallan uses 1% of its rare casks to do this whisky. Casks that will never be used again and that combined Spanish and American season sherry oak. It has a mahogany color. Opulent, yet soft nose and slightly meandering, quiet vanilla with deep notes, raisin, chocolate, apple, lemon and orange, beautifully balanced with a spicy root ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Full palate with notes of oak, vanilla and chocolate. Rich. Light finish, yet full and warming with notes of citrus zest.
