FONSECA VINTAGE 2018 (375 ML)

Black-purple color almost impenetrable in the center, with a narrow violet stripe on the edge. The nose is dense and compact, with impressive depth and structure, in a delicious mixture of aromas of red and black fruits mixed with notes of dark chocolate. Around this nucleus of powerful and complex fruits, there is an aura of balsamic aromas and mint. Although the nose is sumptuous and seductive, there is an attractive and firm side, provided by graphite and a fine minerality.

The first impression on the palate is of silky smoothness, but the tannins suddenly explode on the palate with an assertive pungency and a string of acidity that runs through the palate to provide a lively freshness. Plenty of fresh wild fruit flavors that remain until the end. This excellent Vintage Guimaraens displays vigor and depth, yet is flexible and expressive enough to be drunk early. - Producer
