BURMESTER SINGLE HARVEST 1955
In 1730, Henry Burmester and John Nash founded Burmester & Nash in London, dedicated to the grain trade. Later, in 1750, in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, they began exporting Port Wine to Europe and to the British Isles. The family name comes from the small town of Moelln in northern Germany, deriving from the title Burgomestre, which means head of municipality. Today the brand is recognized internationally for the quality of its Wines, such as the Vintage Port and its magnificent and rare Single Harvests.
