BEIRA BAIXA FLOUR SAUSAGE (UNIT)
Beira Baixa flour sausage or "Farinheira", produced following the traditions of the region.
The farinheira is a typical Portuguese sausage. It was created by the Portuguese Jews during the time of the Inquisition, as a way of simulating the consumption of pork, which is the filling of most sausages. The farinheira is made with flour, as the name indicates. It has the particularity of being the only stuffed one whose gut is not completely full.
