In 1882, Andrew James Symington, 19 years of age, arrived at Porto from Glasgow. Shortly thereafter, he married Beatrice of Leitão de Carvalhosa Atkinson, whose ancestors dedicated themselves to the production of Port Wine, since the 17th century.
Since then, several generations of the Symington family, remained loyal and committed to the Douro and Port Wine. Within this big family, there is our product of the month, Graham's!
Founded in 1820, it has two of the best properties in the Douro Valley, Quinta do Tua and Quinta dos Malvedos, which produce wines of exceptional quality, richness, complexity and great structure.
The ancestors were at the beggining of the first exports of port wine in 1652. Today is inernationally recognized as one of the best brands that exist, as a result of the knowledge and master craftsmanship in centuries of learning to do some of the best Port Wines. Learn more at:
