Pera-Manca is the brand that the Cartuxal cellar allocates to exception wines. The white pear-white was first produced in 1990. Produced from a selection of Antão Vaz and Arinto castes, planted in the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. One part of the stainless steel warehouse batch, fermenting the other part in French oak barrels, at 16ºC controlled temperature. After fermentation follows an internship over thin-legged leaflets with periodic batonnage for 12 months. Finally, filters, subdivisions, tartaric and protein stabilization, final filtration and traffic jam to be followed by a 6-month bottle final stage. - Producer
